Rhinology is a subspecialty that focuses specifically on disorders of the nose, sinuses, and anterior skull base (a thin wall that separates the sinuses from the brain).

Having a clear head, metaphorically and medically, is an important part of a person’s well-being. When our patients come to us, they are suffering from nasal pain, sinus pressure, and any other number of significant symptoms. They’ve often been to other doctors and have not found relief. They do not feel well, to say the least. Treasure Valley Nasal and Sinus Center treats not only rhinology and anterior skull base problems , we also diagnose and treat a wide variety of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) diseases.
Some of these conditions and treatments include:
Sinusitis
Both acute and chronic sinusitis, with and without nasal polyps.
Nasal Polyps and Allergies
Specifically sinusitis with nasal polyps, as well as inflammation likely caused by allergies.
Nasal and Sinus Surgery
Many conditions of the nose and throat are remarkably improved with even minor surgery.
Nasal Obstruction and Congestion
Medical and/or surgical intervention for conditions like post-nasal drip (PND) or a deviated septum.
Sinus Tumors and Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Leaks
Removal of tumors such as benign or malignant pituitary tumors. Also CSF leak repair.
Systemic Illnesses
A set of conditions that are centered in other parts of the body, but also affect the ear, nose, and/or throat. Examples include asthma and cystic fibrosis. As an ENT doctor, we most often coordinate this care with other specialists.
Pediatric Sinusitis
We first try to treat our pediatric patients medically instead of surgically.
